Tiger Blood - I has it?
I made it to the second round of the Tiger Blood Internship selection process. The volume of twitter posts crowing the same line make me question how special this really is, but it’s still kinda nice; a good pick-me-up for exam week. It also made me realize how much I’ve let both this and my Twitter lapse since the fall; school has really been driving me crazy lately.
I wish I...

Satisfying without being truly productive
Today was exactly the title of this entry. I got about half my to-do list from yesterday accomplished, but without feeling rushed or pressured. It was nice. However, now I must do these things tomorrow. At least I don’t have any more classes until late September!
And on that note, is it September first yet? Agh.

Officially using this to sleep tonight. Jokingly titled Echoes Across the Astral Wasteland, it’s Justin Bieber’s U Smile slowed down x8, or -800%. Originally discovered on gawker a few days ago, it makes Justin Bieber tolerable, even awesome. There’s a free download floating around on that gawker page if you really like it.
So this is what being productive feels like...
Today, I accomplished several things:
Did a fantastic job on my CSE final
Got a long-overdue physical (my blood pressure, by the way, is perfect)
Obtained a new birth control prescription
Started the series of shots for the Gardasil vaccine (still hurts like a mofo by the way)
Put the new TV stand in the new house where it’s supposed to be!
Waxed the living room floor at the apartment...
I discovered Outputmessage during Winter Quarter and have since fallen in love with all his music. Track 4, Resurface (Vocal) might possibly be my favorite electronically produced song ever. The texture on the vocals is absolutely amazing. I’m really hoping to get to DC to see him live sometime in the next year or so.
You know what’s both personal and sentimental? Diamonds.
